Having just finished this book I feel at a total loss to have to wait till February 2016 for the next in the series. Archer's story telling is superb in Chronicles. I have read all five now in almost succession and been unable to put them down. The personal dramas, tragedies and triumphs of the people inhabiting these pages will touch you dearly. I say "people who inhabit" on purpose as they are all more than just characters on a page. Archer has introduced me to the lives of some wonderful people who I hope to being following through many more books.

I read this book, enjoyed it but was disappointed with how long the wait to read the sequel . Then the update! What is an update? Spelling and typo corrections? Doesn't anyone write a complete novel anymore?

Another wonderful gripping read. Now I have to wait a whole year to find out what the outcome is in Emma versus Virginia's court case. What was in the letter. I feel it is very disappointing to have to wait so long! At least I already had the first four books!

Its a nice read but I was hoping that the Clifton/Barrington saga will not turn into another "Downton Abbey". Half way through the book I can tell that there will be another "season" as the plot start to stretch. There will definitely be another book out in 2016, will there be another one for 2017 or beyond?

Probably a nice annual earner but the plots are getting thinner and the padding is getting thicker. I enjoyed the earlier books but I was a little disappointed with the latest. At one a year I might never find out the ultimate outcomes!

Archer's books are easy to read but are confusing to follow as they tend to switch from situation to situation and back again with gay abandon! I now have another full year to find out if the clues I have already identified for the next (however many titles) will be included!
